I have started experimenting with felting marionettes. They are all made from natural fibres including wool and hemp. Their limbs are attached to yarn strings that look like vines. They are light and only have two strings attached to four limbs to make manipulation achievable for our little puppeteers 🙂

This is Chilli, named for her fiery fur. Baby orangutans often have bright orangy-red fur and crazy hair.
